Most definitely - and it's very loud. It's winter here and they are still inside with us (they are so tiny they need to grow some more before they are integrated). I don't like to plunge them straight into darkness so I'd been leaving the laundry light on in the next room so it was dim but they could still find their roost. But last night I turned it off and she settled down a lot faster.
