For adult appearance, I would expect them to have normal-textured feathers (not Silkie feathers), some feathers on the feet and lower legs, probably crests on the heads, muff/beard on the face. Combs will be rose or walnut (I can't tell those two apart at this young age).
When they grow their feathers, the darkest few will have black and brown colors in some sort of a pattern (might resemble Partridge). For the chicks that are lighter in color, they may show a lighter brown, or they may have white, to go with the black in their pattern. For all of them, the pattern is likely to change as they grow older, so their first feathers will probably look different than their full adult features (for example, there might be lines of black and brown going sideways across the feathers at one age, and lines going around the edges of the feathers at a different age. Or there might be dots of different colors on the feathers of some of them at one age or another.)
I'd love to see updates when they are old enough to show their sex by other traits (combs, wattles, feathering), to learn how accurate it was.View attachment 4199367
I check them like that, and by their wing feathers too
All of those methods are inaccurate, cruel and inhumane, please don't ever do those again.View attachment 4199367

It’s not that bad, plus I do it gently so don’t worryAll of those methods are inaccurate, cruel and inhumane, please don't ever do those again.
They should be getting close to adult appearance by now.I wonder how these chicks will look like when they grow upthey are silkie mixed
I know this thread is older but these "sexing methods" are simply old wives tales and are inaccurate. They can be harmful to your chicks.View attachment 4199367

Can you post updated photos? I'm curious to see how they look now!
(Updated photos also make this thread more useful for other people in the future, to see what chicks mature to what colors.)
I'm also curious how accurate the sexing turned out to be.
