These chicks hatched a short time ago (I cannot remember the exact day but they are over a week old). I was wondering if anyone has chickens that looked similar as chicks and if they could show me their coloring now. Or what color you may think they'll be? They come from a pen with silkie/cochin mixes. I know the dark one will turn out pretty much all black as that is what most of our chicks turn out to be. The black & yellow/white one looks like a couple we've hatched & I feel like they turn out mostly a grey-ish color? But the lightest one is a mystery to me, as we rarely hatch chicks that look like it. The hen that is raising them is a smooth satin silkie. The other hen in the coop a tiny tiny black silkie with soft feathers (that we call Butterball cause she's super round and adorable).

Thanks for any help!

Chick a looks like my exchequer Leghorn chicks. Exchequer is a type of mottling.
Not saying that's for sure what yours is though.

What colors are the parents? Are the parents purebred or are they mixes themselves?
The parents are silkie/cochin mixes. Mostly black. But the parents of the parents (while still silkie/cochins) have more varied coloring. One of the hens in the coop is a dark grey smooth satin silkie.

Unfortunately without knowing what color the parents & grandparents are specifically, I can't give you any guesses other than throwing a dart at a wall ;D Give it a few months once they're adults we can tell you a better dart-approximate based on adol-adult feathering
