chick confusion

Actually after 8 months we end up with 3 roosters and 3 hens with all of the hens laying in the same box. They all look the same but with just a little difference and none of them look anything like it. I am thinking it is a throw back in the hens moms ancestry.

Crossbreds have a wide gene pool to draw from and the physical appearance of the chicks will vary greatly.
