Do baby ducks count?

These are rescued ducklings. They fell down a storm drain on a very busy road, mama took off because she thought the babies were lost forever, little did she know I had called the cops to come and help me fish them out. After waiting quite awhile for mama duck to come back, when she didn't return I took the babies home briefly before sending them off to a wildlife rehab facility where they would release them back into the wild.
