It’s been a while since I posted, but look at these sweet babies!
my little Bantam Barred Rock got broody so I let her hatch a few. 11 eggs total. 1 hatched but didn’t make the night. The rest are doing well!

The grey are the bantam barred rock x EE crosses.
The dark chicks are all Bantam Buff Brahma x EE hens.
The light tan chick is the only EE.
and not pictured is an EE x Sicilian Buttercup (I think) The chick that didn’t make it was a Bantam Buff Brahma x Sicilian Buttercup.

Here at a little over a week old. The EE, BBBxEE, and BBRxEE.

This is the one that I think is the EExSB. It’s possibly a BBBxEE that just hit the genetic lotto of being the only one that got non-feathered green legs. Heck I suppose it could be a EEI didn’t see the egg it came out of so waiting to see what the comb looks like.

They are so cute!! I love broody hen hatches! And I especially love your barred rock bantam! She's adorable. 😍

Week 3-ish update
Everyone is growing well and doing great!
However, I’m pretty sure all but two are roosters. The two pullets seem to be the EE and the possible BBB/EExSB though the older it gets I think it’s a BBBxEE. It’s the only one with greenish non-feathered legs. If anyone knows genetics enough to explain that I’d love it!
I have been dying for a barred EE so I will be keeping one of the little Bantam Barred Rock x Easter Egger rooster crosses. Most of the chicks are half the size of the bantam hen, but she’s such a good lil momma!
