Do you have a fever??

I must have because I'm not even going to fight Sheila for Boo Boo....tonight.

I have willpower! Usually I just don't look at all when we visit the feed store. The last time I remember LOOKING, however, we came home with 3 quail

I never got to any feed stores during chick season b/c we live out in the country and hardly ever go to any feedstore but our boring local feed store...

Plus..I just have to remember I'm broke and I walk away!

I am a wimp and I know it!

I CAN resist chicks in the feedstore............cannot resist looking at them, but I no longer wish to take them home.

My wimp streak is Broodies...............cannot resist them BUT they give me chicks to resist the feedstore chicks. So it seems to balance out in a strange wimpy way.

We just found out we're getting an Atwoods here in our town. I used to have to drive an hour and a half just to be tempted. What am I going to do now with one 5 minutes away?

As it stands right now we only get to go to Atwoods when I have a doctor's appt. in a town about an hour north. They are supposed to be opening one in the town closest to us. There goes my savings.

BTW Julie, would you happen to have a non-crested cockerel looking for a new home?

My daughter can resist!! I sent my 17 year old to the feed store today to pick up feed (she needed something helpful to do

) and she came back telling me they were trying to push some broiler chicks on her. Now I got chick pushers in my own neighborhood

Good thing I taught her not to fall for peer pressure at a young age!

She also helped me pheasant hunt and captured the remaining live pheasant! Now I can take them to auction so I won't worry about them escaping again or getting ate by the fox.
