Chick doesn't know she's not 'one of the ducks'!

I don't know what to make of his love of swimming. He might need therapy.
I'll get pictures when I can.

Supposedly Ameraucanas like to stand in water but ours decided she didn't like it. She saw the Leghorn standing in the water dish and when the Leghorn left the Ameraucana tried it. Nope, she decided it wasn't for her and promptly stepped out. We've had a couple of Leghorns in the last 3 years and both of them were avid pool waders - one stood in the water dish for 20 minutes on a rainy day! We should have named her "Madge" after the Palmolive lady in the beauty shop soaking commercial.

My pool wader is a 2 month old black Orpington cockerel. But my buff Orpingtons have no interest in the pools. When I saw him in there last night I couldn't believe it, then he did it again this morning, and I still did a double take, lol.

how long did it take her to find out that one
