Chick Emergency!!!!!! Please Help!

I lowered the light and the older ones started pecking at it, so that isn't good. I changed the light and put a regular 100 watt bulb in it, instead of the heat lamp. Sunday when I got them, the heat lamp seemed too warm. They are eating and drinking.

They smell normal. The younger ones finally laid down under the light, so they must have been too cold. But the older ones are panting, so I am going to have to separate them. I don't know what else to do. Luckily I have enough feeders and waterers. My bathroom is getting smaller as the amount of totes grow. what the heck am I gonna do when my eggs hatch in a week and a half........

Well. We lost another one this morning. The other 2 are hanging in there. One still has an eye that is stuck together.
They are eating an drinking. I am being careful to wash my hands really good after handling them and before handling my other chicks.
What does the bubbly eye mean?
