Aw, cute. Your girls are lucky to have you! When I build a permanent coop for my breeding program, I'm definitely layering (pun intended) my roosts! The chicken tractor has enough for my small flock, but how you've staggered them makes so much sense.

It allows the girls to have more room to get away from each other. Everyone but Blue, my blue Cochin, prefers to sleep on the upper poop deck. She’s lower in the pecking order and is pretty reserved, so having that completely separate area is great for her!
