Chick grit??

If I fed my chicks mealworms, would I have to buy chick grit? I want to know so I can buy the grit in advance.

At about 2 weeks I start introducing a little scratch - when I do that I introduce some grit. Basically, anything other than their chick starter and I'd start with the grit.

Best to limit treats until your birds are a little older and their digestive tracts have matured - just like with babies.
