Chick GROW-OUT Thread ***UPDATE WITH PICS!***

Congratulations and happy b day! Very cute chickies. Must be in the air. My bday was on the 21'st and my 11 little bday presents are hatching out today and should be coming (hopefully) tomorrow or Weds!!!!Told my husband that new babies, and a new BIG coop that we will need to build very soon, could be my bday and Christmas present. He didn't even bat an eyelash. I think he thought he got the good end of the deal!

I got them from Ideal Poultry. But you should check as everyone is pretty much out of chicks for the winter.

Baby chicks are so cute, we all wish they could say that young. That must have been such a great gift - I would have begged for chicks as well.

Today my little ones are 7 days old!!!

Sleeping;

Golden Laced Wyandotte;

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Bantams;

And finally, a Cornish Rock with beautiful wings and a bud of a tail just starting to come in, what an angel!

The ones we ordered were hatched the 20th... yesterday was the 27th... 7 days? Are yours 8, or did you mean today they are 8, lol I am confused...

I meant they are 8 days today, mine are the same age, they are growing so fast, they have tail feathers already, they are at least twice as big as they were when they arrived.

Hehe mine too! The tails are already coming in and the cornish are huge! Like 4x as big as the others already!
