When my older birds get loose poop, I add some ground hot peppers (cayenne works) to their water and it clears it up. The birds don't notice the hot pepper. If you aren't using medicated feed (which I don't use) I do want to mention that I think I read that the medicated feed is to prevent coccidiosis, not to cure it.
