Can anyone tell me if this is a normal behavior. The mosquitos have started attacking like crazy where I'm at and I'm allergic so I have to put on a repellent otherwise they massacre me. But my chick went absolutely crazy from the smell. I even changed the shirt but guess she could still smell it and she wouldn't let me anywhere near her. She's usually the calmest chick on the planet but this totally set her off. She struggled with breathing, she was visibly sick and wouldn't let me touch her. What can I do about this situation? Doesn't seem like she can get used to it with time...

Chickens have a rotten sense of smell. It was more likely that the fumes from the repellent were causing her breathing issues. Chickens are very sensitive to respiratory things and fumes can set off a whole host of problems. Either change your repellent or don't wear it around the chick.
