Home remedies for dog arthritis?

have you tried doggy cbd for pain? I have heard there is a difference between that and cbd for human consumption though I’m not sure what that is except maybe dosage. I used cbd for human consumption to treat my dog’s seizures and was told it had to have a bit of thc to activate it. It’s worth looking into. I know it helped my dog and I’ve known other people to use it as well.

I did use it for a while! It was actually for behavioral stuff when we first got him. This was before the joint problems. I stopped using it because it became expensive and I wasn't 100% sure it was still effective anymore. But honestly maybe I should give it another shot! I have heard, at least for humans, that CBG is the compound more effective for physical pain, and CBD is the one more for mental ailments. I'll have to research this for dogs.

Thanks for reminding me of this!

I've had good experience with Meloxicam. I had a vet prescribed gabapentin for mine and I didn't like seeing my dog seem to stumble a lot when on it, so took him off after a month or two.

Tumeric is supposed to be really good for arthritis. I also had a good experience with my dogs with CBD.

I should probably update you guys:

After a while of my dog limping daily, I decided to double his dose (1 capsule per meal instead of just 1 in the morning) of green lipped mussel, and he has not limped since!!!!

This stuff really works, guys. Plus it's cheap and natural. I buy the Swanson's brand from iHerb.com for real cheap but it can be bought elsewhere too.

I hope this helps someone else in the future. This stuff is a miracle for my dog!

Awesome! What is the MG per capsule and how much does your dog weigh?
