Chick Health Problems

I got some new baby chicks about a month ago which was very exciting until I started noticing some health issues (never really had any before). I got several different breeds including 11 quail antwerp belgain. One of my quail's beak is deformed. It doesn't line up right and is crossed but I assumed that was just an anomaly. But several of the other quails' beaks also have issues. None of them are that extreme but they have small under bites which doesn't allow there beak to full close. Also I can see the whites of some of their eyes which I have never noticed before in any of my other chickens. I was wondering if anyone else as noticed any birth defects that run in the quail breed? Is that just normal that they have so many issues?
