I currently have 14 of my baby chickens housed together. Of those 14, 8 are a week old(5 white leghorns and 3 buff orps).The other 6(5 RIR's and a barred rock)are about a day or so old and only about half the size of the older chicks in their brooder. Would it be best if I housed the younger 6 chicks seperate from the older 8 or will it be okay if I just house them all together? I ask this because I'm worried that the older chicks might bully or compete for food with the younger ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
