Chick is 2 and a half days old and still won’t stand or dry out

If you can get the toes flattened out, sandwiched between 2 layers of bandaid to make little orthopedic shoes for him, they may be able to be corrected. It sometimes works, and other times does not. You will have to change the bandaid splints often as the feet grow. Mineral or cooking oil will allow you to remove the bandaids without injuring the chick. Do a thread search for curled toes, orthopedics, or splints for curled toes and you might find some photos.

Ok another one hatched! It took awhile but it hatched on its own and it looks really gooey and sticky but it’s trying to stand and is sitting upright

Ok chick #1 is eating and drinking well but still won’t stand and kicks itself in a circle I have it propped up and its sibling is laying with it. The chick kind of twitched and can’t really stand. Could it possibly be brain damage? And should I just cull or is there any hope?
