Hi, my chick is doing well. She is in a cage inside, eating and drinking. I have been putting antibiotic ointment on her wound every day and it does look like it is healing nicely. She seems to hurt some when I pick her up, she may have some bruising. Is there anything I can put on here wounds to keep the flies and dirt out of the wound? She needs to get back outside.

There is a horse product called SWAT that many recommend to combat flies. Great news that she is better.

Just picked up Swat and deer netting to cover both pens. Will swat help in healing or should I put antibiotic ointment on first, and top it with swat?

I would just use the neosporin inside the house until you put her back out in the coop--then I would put Swat on top.
