I don't see a way for a rat to get into my coop, i have concrete floors and no openings. And if a rat did go into the brooder, it surely would've killed or eaten one of the chicks at leastIt could have been dropped by a rat that stole it from a wild bird nest too.
I'm not so sure. It sounds impossible but I've heard of 6 week old chicks laying tiny eggs like that. And I've heard of certain breeds who tend to mature early laying tiny eggs when their feed was not right or when they were stressed. Chickens are crazy, who knows whats possibleI have no idea how that egg got into your coop,
