do you think they are ready for a sand bath? i just dont want them eating to much..
edit: they are doing good with no heat! the panting has gone away.

One week is a bit young for a sand bath. In another couple of weeks they'll love a dirt bath. Regular dirt mixed with a bit of sand is the perfect consistency for them.

Yeah I’d say the same, no sand baths just yet. I’m glad that they’re going better now.
Edit: btw they’re sooo cute!

thanks! they always sleep in a huddle, (even with the heat) but when they wake up they are runnin' like nobody's business! hahaha

great. they were a little cool yesterday so i tured my box heater up a couple degrees but now they are fine without it. i am going to give them a little hard boiled yoke for there accomplishment.
