Chick might be dying

The anus looks clogged. Have you tried to clean it to free it up? Perhaps this is causing all the problems if poop is backing up and blocking the gizzard.

Is the chick conscious? Can it drink?

He tries to get up, he falls over and his legs start to shake .Is there any other way or should I just put him to sleep?

Cervical dislocation (twisting the neck just under the head. Or, if the chick is very small, sever the head with scissors.

I've never used it, but some here say it allows for a certain degree of suffering as the chicken suffocates. Severing the head is the quickest method and painless.

The chick made it through the night. It's such a hard decision, one part of me tells me to keep it alive as it might heal, the other tells me and its suffering. What should I do?
