Chick not hatching

So my little egg is not hatching and is 2 days late. The sibling just hatched yesterday. The air cell is getting so big and soon will be at half of the egg. What should I do? Should I assist?

It pipped when I was gone. How long is it okay to wait before assisting after pipping?

I've had chicks pip internally (can hear them peep but no hole) and not make the external pip (hole) for 24 hours. Then take ANOTHER day to actually hatch lol How long has it been pipped and is it internal or external.

At least since 9 but I think it pipped at 6?

If 6am, then I'd say give it til same time tomorrow am if you can see the pip hole and chick is breathing. If recheck at 6 even if the pip was after, just in case. If you can only hear the chick but not yet see the pip hole, give it some more time. They take this time to absorb the vessels around them. Helping too early can and will kill them. And I am not against helping at all. Just only if it is the right time. ❤ I hope little bit comes out soon!
