Chick not trying anymore...

I have one hatchling at the moment and one that pipped yesterday morning, gave a good fight for quite some time during the day, and has now been dormant since about 4:00 yesterday. Is this not such a good sign? Today is actually day 21, so the first little one is a day early. I was hoping the hatched one would stimulate it to keep moving and get out but so far no movement. Have I reached that fine line between helping and not helping?

If you dont have any unhatched pips then you could help that one but its hard to choose when or if you help.

We just went through that! I increased the humidity for the entire room that the bator was in, next thing you know we had 7 chicks in about 6 hrs! its now day 24 and have 3 pips left.
