Yes, medicated feed for chicks has a preventative amount of amprolium added to it to help new chicks avoid coccidiosis while they develop resistance to coccidia that are native to their environment. Amprolium inhibits the absorption of thiamine which is B-1. It's a trade-off to deprive chicks of this one vitamin to give them this protection if you are concerned with coccidia presence in significant amounts where the chicks have contact with either other chickens or the local soil.

Giving B vitamins while feeding medicated feed is counter productive. But if the chicks are past the early stages of immunity building, giving B vitamins is okay.
