Worth a try mine would. It has to be pretty small though. Bigger than sand.Would they eat it? :/
Kinda skeptical especially since the one wouldn't eat the grow gel or coconut oil.

Chick grit helps them grind down food, so they can digest it. After they're at least 2 weeks old, when you start to feed them things, other than their chick starter, they need the grit.. Put a couple little piles of it on the floor of the brooder, and they'll eat it. I'd get the coconut oil into it. It sounds like it could be having trouble with the mealworms, and possibly constipated too.
I hope its just digestive issues.I’m glad the poop looked good! Sweet-looking little chick. Maybe it’s uncomfortable with all those undigested mealworms in its craw?
No. I tried to get some from the driveway but its too big. Its chat, not turkey grit and at this point I don't think its digestive issues since they haven't had anything but feed for three days.Have you given it any grit yet?
Unfortunately I am not afraid to lose him I am afraid he will never die. =n=Oh my! Such a cute lil thing! Hopefully you can save him fanci![]()
