He's gonna be one gorgeous boy!And one more clearer picture of the cockerel
Aww, she's so cute. Now you've met all my chicks and the little cochin who's raising them.
I think so but I live in town and roosters are not permitted. I KNOW a lady who has all hens and wants a rooster for breeding. I am attached to them as pets but if I have to I will give him up.He's gonna be one gorgeous boy!
Two of three that Peewee hatched. I call them olive who has green legs and Tyson the big one. I couldn't get Nugget In the picture
Time will tell.Just letting you folks know my big black easter egger crowed this morning. I quess we were right he is a Cockerel. We only have 5 chickens, the bantam who raised him,( Pee Wee) a Rode Island red hen(Pixie) and the cockerel and his 2 siblings. Do I need to separate him and will he get aggressive with the chicks he grew up with? I don't want him breeding with the adoptive mother because shes an elderly bantam Cochin. I had planned to rehome him but am having no luck so far. I want him to be a pet or used for breeding. I might have to risk keeping him.
