I am a very new chicken Mommy and have only had my "girls" for about a week. They are 5-week old silkies and seem very happy and healthy except my buff occasionally does this little hop/skip thing with one foot.... almost like she takes a large exaggerated step and kind of holds her foot up for a second or two. She only does this a couple of times an hour and seems to walk totally normally the rest of the time. I noticed it the second day I had her, but it hasn't gotten worse.
I've looked at her little feet and her legs over as best as I can through all the feathers and don't see any cuts or punctures. I've read a little about bumblefoot on some other threads and am wondering if this sounds like the start of it? Or maybe she just pulled a muscle or something? She doesn't seem in pain and doesn't get upset when I touch her foot/leg. She seems very happy and active so I haven't really worried about it but wanted to get some other ideas and opinions.
Thank you all in advance!!!

I don't think you need to be worried. It might be a pulled muscle. Or maybe somebody accidentally trod on her tiny foot. Anyway if there are no cuts, bruises, swelling or signs of defomity, it will be okay and probably go away quickly. Have fun with your chickens :)
