Chick opening closing mouth with noise

I have a chick who was fine this morning but when I got home was opening and shutting it’s mouth and making a crackling/clicking type noise. I don’t know exact age but I’ve had him two weeks and he was a week or so older when I got him.

Have you looked inside his beak to make sure there's no obstruction or possibly a hair or string is inside the beak?
Is the chick the only one you have? What's your brooder set-up like? (photos are always welcome)
