I am hatching bantam chicks, 4 have hatched already and 2 have pipped. Some of the chicks that hatched are starting to pant, I have kept them in the incubator for about 9 or 10 hours. Should I take the chicks out now or do I have to wait for the pipped eggs to hatch?

Have they dried off ?
I'd move them, if you have a warm brooder ready.

I just waited until they all hatched, I was to worried that if I opened the incubator it might shrink wrap the eggs. They are in the brooder now, this has been my first 100% hatch, out of 12 eggs 7 were fertile and all 7 hatched. :yesss:

Thank you all for your response.:)

What do I do one has been hatched since this morning I have another egg pipped but the one that hatched in the AM is panting I've pulled the plugs from up top to hopefully allow fresh air in I don't wanna shrink wrap the other egg help help

I have that same thermometer. Lol.
Pull the panting chick and get it in the brooder. I just wrote on another post that I have no idea why this fear of opening the brooder exists. It's perfectly safe to open the incubator for a couple of seconds to get a chick out. I do it every single hatch.
Congratulations on your babies! What breed?
