I have 5 chicks around 10 weeks. I figured we needed to start to introduce them to the bigger chicks (Around 15 weeks). They have been in runs parallel to each other, so we put 3 bigger chicks in with them to start. Big mistake. All the chicks are fine, but my blue Orpington. They pecked her butt down to the bone. It's just sticking out, and so can see the muscles holding it together. One and a half vertebrae are exposed. It's just nasty. She's eating and drinking fine. We separated her from all the others, and cleaned it up. Put neosporin on it. Anything else I should do? (FYI it was the grossest thing I've ever done to rub the blood off a chickens butt bone lol )

I don't really know what to do in these situations but firstly just make sure she's fully healed before you put her back with your flock. and maybe add one big chicken in to your little chickens at a time or something like that
