Chick PICS

Jody are you raising any of these chickys up until they are old enough to tell hen from roo?
If the feedstore never gets back to me about chicks...maybe when I come over I will pick up a few pullets.

Very Nice chicks Jody. I will have to take some pics of the buff silkies I hatched from your eggs. They are growing up. Love the black and white chicks in the pics.

Katy - all of your SLW eggs hatched..I don't see any of their eggs in the bator, so I must assume they hatched. lol I think there were only 7 or 8 of them.

Sam - the only ones we are keeping are ones we intend to pull pullets out of or that I want to see how they grow out...i.e. Pyncheon, Silkies, bantam buff Ameraucana. I generally do not grow out birds for folks, unless someone gets lucky and I decide to sell off pullets that I thought I might want and change my mind. Sorry.

liv2ride - you can see some pyncheon on my web site link under my user name. It is a very rare breed and they are oh, so cute.

Thanks Bama - your input means a lot to me. I'd love to see some updated pics of the silkies. The majority of the black and whites are black australorps...but there are black araucana, black EE and the silver laced in there too.

internationalfarmer - If I counted correctly, which I am losing count here and there, I'm sure..I think we're up to 84 chickies.

starfroggie..those 4 week old chicks are my buff silkies. I think they are at a silly stage in growing up and look so adorable. Thanks for asking.

B E A U T I F U L !!!

I sure wish the l'il black and white ones (Pyncheons? I always want to say Percheron?) would stay all black and white. That's a pretty chick!
Don't they feather out red/black/white mottle-y?
