chick pipped 6 hours ago then nothing, do I help??

Its day 21 and 1 of my 8 eggs have pipped the shell over 6 hours ago, since then nothing. I cant hear it cheeping. The other 7 eggs are still and these eggs were from my rooster that has gone to a better place. I would like to get at least 1 chickadee.

Should I help,wait,what? I did have a humidity drop to 52% but it regained after anhour. Is it a gonner?

Yep leave it alone until at least 24hrs.. It can take a while...

If Im this impatient with eggs then I dread to think what Im going to be like when my next lot of human babies decide to arrive
