Chick pipped but darkish fluid leaked out

It may bleed to death if it hasn't already. Or drown in it's own blood. I would have opened it up if it where me and tried to save it. Especially if it's a breed I was really wanting to make it.

I took it out and had a closer look, the pip hole has completely resealed from the blood clotting, it pipped at least 13 hrs ago and the pip was on the bottom of the egg so didnt see the fluid until my chick that hatched played football and moved it a little, I cant hear any sound or movement coming from it so it may have already expired when it pipped.

I had one that did that yesterday. I waited a little while but it did no progress. It pipped in the middle not the wrong end but got a vein. I zipped it myself and got it out and it's doing fine. I waited to long on the last one and it died almost as soon as I got it out it was so weak.

I've been told that if after 24 hours nothing happens to help them out but that can be to long. It's hard to judge when to intervein and some people just dont at all. I just can't help but to give them all a chance. Sometimes they just aren't meant to make it and nothing you do will make it live but I try anyway. I've had a few I just knew where gonna die but tried anyway and they lived. I even had one that was late and I got it out just to find yolk still attached and I wrapped it in a damp wash cloth and put back n the bator. when the yolk absorbed it crawled out of the wash cloth and lived. It's living on a farm im paris now. So don't give up on them.
