Long story short, this is my last hatch of the year. [Waiting on some eggs to hatch out for my neighbors as they lost their whole flock (that I hatched for them in the spring) to a stray dog] I've got 8 English Orpingtons pipping, zipping and hatching at the moment, but I'm a little concerned as one of the chicks is pipping at the narrow end of the egg!

He's made a hole and seems to be trying to zip, is this ok??

I've never had a chick pip from the wrong end!!

Is there anything I should do, or will he be ok?

Thanks so much!
