Chick running in circles around me?

Hello! I recently got some baby chicks a couple weeks ago, and since they’re bigger now I sometimes let them run around in a room ( their heater, food, and water always available ) for about 30 or so minutes at most. There’s one barred rock chick that always runs circles around me and the other chicks whenever she’s startled about something such as a loud noise or if someone else walks in the room. Is that to alert me and the other chicks? Is it to protect us? Only other time she runs crazy like that is if I’m feeding them in the morning or getting ready to take them out. What are your thoughts? I greatly appreciate you reading this! Thank you!
