I just received a tracking text from USPS that my chicks that were shipped yesterday (Tuesday) have a "delivery day" of Saturday. That's four to five days in the mail!

Isn't that too long? I'm worried about my babies!

Hopefully they arrive sooner than Saturday.

Are you familiar with poultry vitamins?
Do you have some on hand for when they do finally arrive?

If they don't arrive today or tomorrow, brace yourself for DOA chicks. Like stated above have the brooder ready and vitamins/electrolytes mixed and make sure they get a drink and get warm ASAP.

I have three packet pouches of Probiotics & Electrolytes, made by Sav A Chick Products.

Great you sound like you are ready for them!
Good luck an please let us know how they arrive....hopefully hungry little buggers!

Have you thought about soaking their food with water?

They were shipped from Iowa to Saint Paul Minnesota (that's the opposite direction to Colorado), picked up from Saint Paul early this morning. So, they're definitely not going to be here today & doubtful for tomorrow.

Although according to TSC, they're supposed to be here "before Friday", so maybe.
