4 week old Chocolate Silver Laced Orpington chick. Discovered in this condition this afternoon. Behaves normally, heavy as a brick, no signs of distress. No blood. Only a tiny area of broken skin shown by arrow. Some of the down is crispy and matted. I don’t see anything weeping. Skin is pink, warm, and dry. He has been in a large outdoor pen on wire mesh. Has boards (for foot relief) and a roost as well. Has lots of chick friends and none of them have this. I see no parasites. None of the other chicks seem to notice it at all.
Thank you for any input.

How old are all of the chicks? It looks like she has been feather picked by others.
They are all the same age. It would be unusual if that (other chicks pecking) was the case. Note how most of the affected area is not even visible when the chick is in a standing position. I cleaned it and put it back with the others and it is healing without issue. No others have been affected. Thank you for your input.
