Chick started using one foot

inhave had so many problems the past week animal wise I am going crazy. I now have a grey chick that has unexplainably started hopping on one leg won’t put any pressure on the other and leaves it lifted off that ground abit ???

"Grey" is usually actually blue in poultry.

How old is your hopping chick? Can you post a video? Do you feel any swelling or heat or get a pain response when touching (not standard protesting)? Have you checked the bottom of the foot for any breaks in the skin or injury?

Oh okay I didn’t know about the blue and it is just under a week old there is not injury on the bottom of the foot but the leg looks a bit of a darker colour than the good leg for the other questions I will have to answer when I get home from work tonight if you will be around in about 8 hours?? Sorry I will also post a video then or a picture because video on here is difficult

Okay so the knee is very swollen I am thinking it broke it ??? Anyways here is pics of how it holds it foot up

Unfortunately I can’t do much at all for it other than see how it goes and give it vitamins
