Chick Starter

I was looking at the pricess on the chick starter from TSC and i was wondering if you could make your own starter formula?

You can, but I think its easier to buy the pre mix and probally cheaper

what does it mainley consist of?

I have no clue, I just open bag and they eat it. You could ask on the feeding and watering forum maybe someone on there might know more about it. I just go easy route.

tsc is priced way to high. i get my feed from a mom and pop feed store. 20 percent medicated starter crumbles, 8.55 50 pound bag. 22 percent layer pellets 9.55 50 pound bag. 3-way scratch 7.55 50 pound bag. co-op is also cheaper, shop around, cheaper feed stores are out there. feed is made by tucker, scottsboro, alabama
