Chick stuck in egg for 2 days! HELP!

Water will chill a chick trying to hatch. Even the damp paper towel. Better to use coconut oil or antibiotic ointment. Just stay clear of the nares.

He is hanging in there! I managed to get the wing away from his eye with some difficulty though. My only problem now is how his eyes look. They are watery and greyish looking, could it be an eye infection?

I'd clean them gently with a wet q-tip. If it persists, get some terramycin ointment to use in his eyes.

She looks fine now but she has scissor beak, is that fixable?

No, but its manageable if its not too severe Feed her from deep dishes . She will probably use her bottom beak like a shovel. This is why she couldnt hatch. .

That is probably the reason why she had such trouble. Will her sissor beak get worse as she ages? She also seems to be smaller than the other chicks, her egg was smaller that average. could that also be a factor in why she has had such a rough early life?

She and another chick were from an pullet. The pullet, brownie jr, has been laying for only a couple of weeks, at most a month. Her sister is perfectly fine, fluffy, adorable, and acting like a normal chick would. But Leeli is about the opposite.
