Chick stuck?

Our chick has been hatching for 24 hours and it has been the same (no more shell is broken). I lifted it up to see if it was dead but when I lifted it i felt movement inside the egg. Should I help it a little bit? I read you're not supposed to until after 24 hours so maybe I should wait??
