Approximately 3 week old chick was drinking a fair bit of water when I went to pick her up and she vomited clear, warm liquid on my arm. Is this just because she was drinking a lot of water and I picked her up, or should I be worried?? Thanks in advance!

Welcome To BYC

It sounds like you have pressed the crop when you picked her up and she spit water up.
If she's acting normal, active and eating/drinking, I wouldn't worry about it.

Do take care not to press the crop when picking her up. If you have photos of her and the others you wish to share, we'd love to see them :)

Thank you! I was wondering if they may have been the case, but just wanted to make sure she was okay! She does seem to be otherwise normal so far. These are my little babies!! I need more pics!

Chickens can't swallow so if they are eating and drinking a lot they can't keep it down if they've been picked up. It doesn't hurt them though, I've been thrown up on by chickens more times than I could count.
