Chick treats?

They are two days old...anything i can or should be giving them besides the medicated feed? Thanks!

No! They're way to young to be eating anything but their chick feed.

Are they having any issues with the feed? If not, my .02, I would wait a while before giving them anything treat-wise. They are just new to the world and that little digestive system needs to start itself up.

I am just now considering a possible treat that I may give @ 3 weeks.

I "salted" their feed with grit from day 1, added apple cider vinegar to their water at 1 week old, and at 3 weeks started to add a little yogurt (homemade) mixed with oatmeal and chick crumble. Each week I add a few more new things, keeping in mind that these are just "treats". So far the girls are strong and healthy.

Be patient and go slowly since any change in diet can cause "issues" with the GI tract.
