Chick using siblings like a soccer ball....

BTW thank you for your help. I'm being as patient as I know how to be. This is my first round and probably my only round as we don't actually have a rooster and shipping eggs aren't easy to find in the city as no one can have roosters.

so if it hasnt moved any of the pieces would you then open up the incubator and peel the pipped shell back and see what you see? Peeper rolled the egg again slightly, so my husband can't see the pipped area... *naughty baby*

If it was me and it’s been 24 hours I would. I would candle it. Draw my aircell line and zip for it along that line. Here are 2 great articles to read that can help you make that decision and how to do it. I use coconut oil to moisten membrane. If the room is dark your husband can use his cell phone flashlight to make pepper turn the egg back over. Lol.

PEEPER IS HELPING!

Peeper just ripped off the broken shell near the pip and now the egg is slowly zipping. Peeper is acutally cuddling the egg and helping take pieces off.

GO PEEPER!!!
Lol. Go pepper! Lol. Those babies can and do help each other hatch. Either it be by sound or by movement. Hatching can be so stressful. Lol. Well I hope your babies are hens so you get to keep them. Post pics after they are nice and fluffy. Would love to see them. :). This is my last hatch. The babies helped out. 16 hatched in 28 hours.

They are too adorable. Congratulations. Those 24 hour babies just love to stress us out lol.

Well the third egg was malpositioned and died before absorbing any yolk. An egg under my broody hatched but looks like someone ate that one. The last egg well the odds aren't in its favor. So it looks like just these two of the original 7 eggs *1 was infertile and another broke after just a week under the hen*

Here is Peeper (top photo) all dry and fluffy and sooo tiny!!

The second chick isn't fully named yet and is a little bigger. But soo cute.
