Chick Waterers

Hello,
I just wanted to see if there is an age when chicks can safely use adult waterers instead of the shallow chicks ones. There are 4 week old standard sized australorps and barred rocks. Thanks

I put my 4 and 5 week old chicks out in their own run. I have a trough-style water container out there for them. It is low enough for them to have access to the water. Have done this for the last 2 batches. 10 chicks in one batch, 15 in the other....I have not lost a single chick to drowning. Matter of fact I have not lost a single chick, period.
