I had a chick hatch. Really late. It didn't pip until the 24th day. I think because of this it has messed up balance and legs. Its legs are really shaky. Its naval is a red stump. I put it with the other chicks to see. They made him bleed. This chick is adorable. What could I do? Can I put it in a separate part of the brooder? I'm really worried? Help please?!?!

If he is just weak from hatching late, you can try sugar water to give him some energy. just put a teaspoon in a cup of water, dip your finger in so a drop is hanging off the tip, and hold him upright to stick his beak in. Do it a few times if he likes it.I would put some blue kote on the umbilical stump, and let it dry. Hope he is ok!

You can't leave it laying down..it will die.
Get it upright and see if it will eat and drink.
If not at least you tried.
Nutri-Drench is a good thing to keep on hand for situations like this.
