Chick with 5 toes (PICS ADDED)

I just bought a crested chick with 5 toes on each foot. It has a double toe on the back of each foot. Is this normal?

It sounds like you could have picked a Silkie or Houdan. Can you post a pic?

I will post a pic tomorrow, but it doesn't look at all like a silkie. It is pretty much feathered out, and definitely crested. Thanks for everyone's responses.

Many breeds have extra toes... maybe it's a cross of some kind. My dorking has five toes on each foot and it doesn't seem to slow her down one bit.

She's beautiful- I absolutely love her! Or him!

I definitely agree on being part Polish, that beak is the clincher, with the high nostrils. I don't know about the extra toes, though- not likely silkie, with that dewy white skin.

I can't wait to see what it ends up looking like!
