Hello everyone. My chicks are about 6 weeks old or so. They're free ranged most of the time. Last night we noticed one of our babies didn't come to the coop with the rest, so we figured she was somethings dinner and we went to bed sad. When I woke up this morning to go let the rest out of their run area, I noticed our other chick under the bushes next to the coop.. she wasn't missing any feathers or anything but I did notice on top of her head was like a bubble, squishy and feels like a small balloon under her feathers. She didn't seem to be injured or anything, and like I said, wasn't missing any feathers.. just seemed odd to me because I've never noticed this before.. anyone have any ideas?? There is no mark, nothing. Just like a squishy balloon under her feathers on the very top of her head.. also, don't know if I have any roosters or not yet.. but i did notice after putting her back in the run area, she stuck around in there as the rest went to go do their daily rounds.. Thanks in advance
