Yesterday I picked up two chicks. They were abandoned by mom in a very busy street. They were very weak. I noticed one had what looked like Brusing on her foot. She was weak yesterday so she didn't walk much but when she did she limped a little. Today I noticed she curled her foot while standing. She let me get a closer look today and I noticed a cut on her foot. I also notice a spot with no feathers. There is no cuts on the area. I am not sure what trauma happened before but I have never dealt with trauma in chicks. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome To BYC

I would dab a little triple antibiotic ointment on the scabs, otherwise leave the foot alone. It's swollen and bruised. Keep her on clean dry bedding, give her a bit of heat, see that she's eating/drinking, etc. Add some vitamins once a week to the water.

Her holding the foot up, is just her way of protecting it, so she's self limiting her activity.
I would not give her anything for pain.

Thank you! I have vitamin water additives the feed store gave me. I checked on her before I went to work and she ran towards me chirping so she must be feeling better.
